I highly suggest all read Denise’s Diary today regarding the anatomy of the Flint Genocide. Go to the DK link below and see this fine work of details regarding Flint.
Flint is not alone. Flint is in the spotlight. It is high time we start demanding accountability regarding our water supply and that intertwines with climate change. There have been numerous diaries regarding The Everglades, the impact on our health and a shout out to Meteor Blades and others for this fine reporting of Pollution, Climate Change as well as greed.
I beg to ask the question. Who are the terrorists in this situation? Rick Scott and the Republican legislators voted no on Clean Water legislation in 2015 and this was after finding Tallahassee and the Pan Handle having the worst drinking water in the country. We are talking lead, arsenic, pesticides, and all manner of chemicals in our drinking water. Thirty one cities… Count them 31 are considered hazardous to you and most importantly, your children’s health.
People ask, “ What’s in the water down there”. Plenty. Plenty of poison. It is one thing for these legislators and Republican Governors to spew poison from their lips but quite another to allow the poison to spew from our water spouts. This should not even be a dem or republican talking point. This should be a humanitarian talking point.
I will provide links to my rant. Demand Accountability as I fear more death and suffering to continue and in different cities. Denying expansion of medicaid was not killing us fast enough. Poison the people. This is not political correctness but this is what is happening. The Death Panels are real, but being led by Rich, Greedy, profiteers who mostly inhabit the right wing.
Nothing is more important than safe, clean water. The Florida Everglades provides 1 in 3 Floridians with clean, fresh drinking water. But that water supply is at risk, and so is the drinking water of millions of Floridians.
That’s why, last November, 75 percent of Floridians voted for Amendment 1 – setting aside hundreds of millions of dollars to buy land that would help save the Everglades and protect our drinking water supply, providing clean fresh water for generations to come.
Experts and citizens alike agree. The Florida legislature did not obey the constitution and adequately fund the projects that would protect our natural resources and drinking water supply -- projects like buying land south of Lake Okeechobee to build a reservoir that would store and clean water before sending it south to the Everglades.
Florida voters said yes to providing the Legislature with the funding necessary to save the Florida Everglades and our drinking water, but Florida legislators and Governor Rick Scott refused to listen to the will of Floridians during the 2015 legislative session
Pensacola’s worst water ranking was among 100 of the nation’s largest water systems in cities over 250,000 in population. In North Escambia, water systems are operated by small independent water companies such as Walnut Hill Water Works, Molino Utilities, Central Water Works, Bratt-Davisville Water System and the Town of Century. These smaller water systems were not part of the worst water results. Only the water provided by the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) in the Pensacola metro area was part of the water study. The smaller North Escambia water systems were not included in the study by EWG.
In most U.S. households, pouring a glass of tap water means exposing families to hundreds of distinct chemicals and pollutants, many of them completely unregulated,” said Houlihan.

Florida has been dangerous for a long time with their drinking water supply. This is a disgrace regarding the drinking water in the United States.
We can bomb and bomb and bomb genocide countries but I personally do not know why this info has not been brought up to the United Nations on Human Rights Violations.
The extreme right winged and lazy republicans wanted to Take it Back.
Well it appears they have taken us back to the Poison Water trough of the early settler days of Dead Cattle, Illness, Disease and Poverty from their greedy spreadsheet of death.
The right wing loves to fear monger over those terrorists coming over here to kill us.. They are simply diverting the attention from their own wrong and evil doing . Many governors saying no to medicaid expansion, are just saying we are not dying fast enough, so just poison us.
Flint is extremely horrible but I guarantee you, we have more cases like Flint all over this country. Mad? You should be !!!! Scared? You should be terrified !!!!! What you do not know can hurt you.
Water Water Everywhere but not a drop to drink !! Not safely.
