I don’t get it. I really don’t. I hear, 72 percent according to media believe the economy is going badly. I hear #1 issue. What are these people thinking? Republicans are more enthusiastic about voting. Does this mean that Republicans are really wanting to own Dems and many dems are willing to be told what to do and when to do and how they manage their own bodies and how little to make in their wages? Does that mean that these folks sitting it out trusts republicans to make their life choices? Does it mean people who vote against their own interest just ignore and don’t square this with their children or parents? Sorry, Mom, or Sorry Dad, you are just not as important as my video game or nap, or hanging out with friends instead of voting or my working to pay the bills. THINK STUPIDS !!!! If you have no democracy and be ever so sure, you won’t if republicans take over, You don’t get to choose anything. Do you really think you will even get health insurance?
Do you think you will have a say in climate change?
How long will you be able to choose a contraception?
How long before any vote counts?
How long will you be able to afford food and that these people care, especially is the social net disappears.
How long will you get to read what book you want to read?
How long will you be able to speak your mind if you disagree with conspiracy or theocrats or conservatives?
How long before your freedom to love will disappear or will the closet look good compared to possible jail?
How many people will have to physically fight to survive?
The economy is not the most important issue. The threat is losing your freedoms. The threat is becoming Russia or worse.
This republican party is a cancer. Do the apathetic people just want to be ruled and not govern themselves. Has America become THAT lazy? Do they think America will look anything like it does with a few high prices that will settle down eventually, and does that even matter if you have to do as you are told, or where to go and where to drive or allowed to drive or vote? What the hell is wrong with people who think Freedom fell from the sky and was never fought or died for?
If you are not part of the solution to stop the violence, the loss of democracy, then you are part of the problem. How long before you will be a slave to the fascists? Why take such a chance on this dire situation facing us all.
