I hate writing this kind of post but let me introduce you to my world for a minute. It is going to get worse not better I fear.
We have the most inconsiderate assholes here in Florida that I have ever run across. That takes some doing considering I am for Georgia. I don’t get out that much except for necessities. I mask up. I keep a huge distance if I can and all but two of us are vaccinated due to medical / allergic reasons.
I go into a store to get butter or milk, or paper towels and toilet paper and no matter where I go, hardly anyone is masked. They will crowd your space until you ask them to keep their distance and most of the time they won’t. They will loiter around an aisle for a good thirty minutes unmasked and trying to decide whether they need bounty or the cheap papertowels. I think they are stupid or doing this to just annoy the maskers. The Cashiers will wear masks wrapped under their noses and so do most of the stockers. They want their freedom too you know.
They don’t mind yelling across the aisle..( ignorant asses) and when you realize you are almost out of gas and have to go to another store, they will stand right next to you while you are trying to pay because the machine outside is not working and loiter not 3 feet from you and reach over you and try and pick a lottery number inside where you are being waited on running their mouths the whole time saying the numbers outloud to themselves. You step back and run slap dab into another non masker. You have stocked on groceries but you can’t help but run out of staple items. God help me. I want to jack slap every single one of them and call them out but I don’t. I know there is a bullet somewhere with my name on it with these people. How do I know this? Because one day I am gonna snap I fear and make any average Karen look like Eleanor Roosevelt.
You may be totally surrounded by unmasked asswipes and them all jabbering as they wait for the asshole in front of them who is all about talking unmasked to everyone in the store. Guess what? Every store is like that no matter where you go. You leave the parking lot and some jerk will roll down his window and say you are blocking an intersection which you won’t be and he or she mostly he is just being a jerk and you look at them like they are an idiot not knowing what the hell they are talking about because you are in a turning lane waiting for the light to change, not blocking jack squat. Are they drunk? Probably because they are the one over the line trying to push you out of the way so they can hurry and turn, regardless if you are waiting on the light to turn green..
Oh and I forgot to mention as I loaded a few things in my car, my daughter tells me that the three masked outside of where she is are talking all about the Big Lie. How people ought to run Biden out office and Stop the Steal. Oh my goodness. I bet my blood pressure was through the roof. Down here if you say anything to these people you are liable to be shot. They all are angry ( in my area) and look at masked people like the enemy...well unless the few jerks with a little sense are masked but they were the ones wanting another insurrection.
It is 82 degrees on New Years Eve and people are running around like they don’t have a care in the world and that there is no pandemic and We communists have stolen the election. You know, most of us with the mask.
I would move but I am too old and too rooted with the VA and doctors to just pick up and leave. I know most of the southern states are like this. So many idiots and cult members who think Donald J Trump hung on the cross and insuring their after life. I am so pissed right now I had to write this down.
If Desantis becomes president, expect the same in your neck of the woods because he is giving idiots a license to kill with disease or guns.
