Which is more important? Wall or Refund? A question for the Trump supporter.

The shutdown is going to impact the IRS according to this article if it continues.

Taxpayers who file early in tax season may not receive their refunds in a timely manner because of the partial government shutdownthat began on December 22, according to The Wall Street Journal.

If the shutdown continues, it could mean a delay in "billions of dollars in income-tax refunds," The Journal's Richard Rubin reported.

During the shutdown, the IRS has lost funding and is operating with about 12% of its employees, according to Rubin. While it can process some tax returns, keep systems running, and conduct criminal investigations, it can't run audits, answer off-season taxpayer questions, or allocate refunds, he reported.

Of course this is the way for the Trump supporters to really hate on Speaker Pelosi and the democrats but we need to remind them that Individual #1 said he wanted to own the shutdown.

With the stock market tanking, the recession looming, and the government shut down, the economy is in for a bit of downturn.  

Those poor folks who don’t have much to begin with and think Trump is all that, Koolaid may be all they have to drink or eat considering many past due bills are put off until that refund comes in.

They most definately are not going to be happy.

"For many Americans, the tax refund is the single largest financial event of the year, and the people who tend to file early in the season are taxpayers who count on large refunds to pay down debt, catch up on bills or make major purchases," Rubin wrote. "Those are disproportionately low-income households that benefit from the earned-income tax credit and other provisions that give them no income-tax liability or a net benefit from the income-tax system."

So there it is.  Figure it out.  We are called the obstructionists, but who shut down the government?

It was Donald J. Trump.  I hope Fox and Friends, Hannity and Trump think of you while dining in 5 star restaurants, while you are at the pawn shop.  I don’t think the base will find the wall so important  when they shut down the lights.
