My goodness, she spent years decorating for Christmas. Not only as First Lady but her Mother in Law’s decorating. We are talking 12 years in the White House.
This was all ..LOOOKie..see what we did and we have the best funerals ...ever. Believe me. The words elegance and precision does not pop in my head first thing regarding funeral protocals for heads of state. Respectful and Dignified does. OMG. I cannot imagine what Laura Bush must be thinking walking into a place she knew many memories and seeing what is there. Looking forward was another phrase that jumped out at me.. Who looks forward to greeting a family in grief?
