What everyone is thinking. Big test for the Country with 41's death and 45's title.

We are all speculating.  We only know what eyes and ears and common sense tell us.  Everyone wants to know what in the world is going to happen when a former president dies when 45 is holding the title of President.  

This is a quandary for sure.   George HW Bush was a republican who voted for Hillary Clinton. ( so reports have been told)   This was a republican who was held in high regard by the republican establishment, not the conservative bunch holding office at this time.   This man had respect for past presidents and even friendships.   President Clinton had become the “adopted son” metaphorically  of the Bush family after his presidency.  

John Meachum is a historian who looks to me like he is a bit concerned not just for the sympathies and outpouring of dignataries showing respect but Meachum knows Trump was not liked much less respected by the Bush family.   You just know John Kelley is having a cow over this untimely death when all of the news has broken about Cohen and the Russians.  Kelley and other cabinet members also know how Trump feels about the CIA, the media, and his total disrespect for anything kind and unifying.   They can’t control Trump.   Trump has no filter.  Barbara Bush detested DJ Trump.   

There is a prototcol and a sense of decency of which Donald J Trump just tramples.

He was not invited to Barbara Bush’s funeral and the whole family made sure of that.  This is different.  The is a former head of state ..one of 45 people who head the country and this is a real problem for republicans.   If he stays away, which I hope as it would be the proper thing to do for a family but the office in which he resides, despite how he got there is another problem.  It is absolutely a no win regarding attendance being all things Trump.    The whole world will have their eyes on one man. The deceased.   Trump cannot handle comparison plus not being the center of attention BUT if he doesn’t show...then he is criticized. ( Not following protocol and not having a filter which could really be a mess)

  The former President  served in WWII, the Father of another president and friends with the Clintons.   All of the things Trump hates, including Head of the CIA, the very establishment he ist trying to break.   George HW Bush was a friend of the media. ( in a positive way) compared to Trump.

  I personally did not the politics of Bush I or II.   I thought Bush II was the worst president ever, until I really saw how bad a president could be.   This one is something else.   

I do not believe Former President Obama just dropped in to visit the Bush family 3 days ago.  I have no proof but I believe he was called in by the family.   When other people say, “ It’s time to call in the family”, I believe leaders, probably say, “ It’s time to call in the Head of State or at least the one we recognize as head of state”.

  Maybe it was all coincidence but one thing for sure..Trump is happy all eyes are off him for a bit regarding the media but oh they are not.  They may not be talking Russia meddling but they are talking about decency and comparing.  He may not can contain himself with this comparison with republcian presidents.

I would say there are some mighty politically minded people sitting on the republican side of the fence terrified of how this whole funeral is going to go down with the Liar in Chief who cannot control his mouth, his anger and already out of control.    We have already seen how the McCain thing went down.

We do live in interesting times.   This test of decency or protocol is out of the test phase and within the next week, we will know just how far down the rabbit hole we are.   Bush was a WWII Veteran. They fought Nazis.  Trump thinks Nazis are great.   Bush signed th Americans with Disabilities Act and Trump makes fun of disabled people.   Yeah like I said above… What a mess this could be.   The media is already playing sound bytes of how a President is supposed to show respect for all the people.
