I am married to a Native American blended AA. He is really for Bernie Sanders.
I had a hard time making my mind up. He was brought up so very poor and never even had electricity until he was pre teen. He feels that he has been disenfranchised on many economic levels. He is also disabled. He feels Bernie is real and can make positive change for the poor.
I really am puzzled by the lean from the POC to Hillary opposed to even a split on which candidate the non whites endorse. Hillary has been a friend to POC but so has Sanders. I am not trying to influence… I really really want to know the reason why, BUT I do remember that the welfare to work program was started in the nineties and many poor and other economically disadvantaged people, especially of color got hit by this… I also know the whole thing about incarceration and the POC holding the main cell usage. Sanders talks of this injustice constantly. What am I missing here?
Is it media hype that POC choose Hillary or is there something that has turned POC against Bernie? Because that BLM incident does not qualify IMO ...He has since made up for that and even Shaun King is out there for Bernie so inquiring people want to know...Why are POC or many of them opposed to Bernie.
I really do hate these Bern and Hill diaries but my curiosity peaks every time I hear about the gap in South Carolina and Florida. I really would think with two strong equal rights candidates, the gap would not be so wide. I came to get answers..because it does perplex me.
