Holiday Help for Vet Families

It has been a rough year… Period.  Today is my anniversary and after 27 years, the only thing I want to do for my anniversary is to help about three vets who need a little help.   

One vet is alone this Christmas and has no one to celebrate the holidays with.  We want to give him a gift certificate to Applebee’s.   We will have this vet at our home  for dinner but that is Christmas Eve.  We want him to have something to share.  I invite many who need food here for the holidays…  

 I personally spent an extra $200.00 thanksgiving of my own money to feed some folks.  Trust me.. I DO NOT HAVE 200.00 right now .  Our  vet account has maybe 12.00 presently  and that is not enough to do much.

 We have another veteran with 2 children and with Food Stamps ( Thanks Florida) cut off and  he unemployed, his wife with MS and 2 kids under 12  only receiving 10 percent disability…. and small social security needs some Santa Claus.

We also want to pay a 200.00 water and light bill for another.

Please help me and our small organization.

Any small amount helps… I just can’t do it by myself this year and you with a little extra can make Holidays a little brighter.  

It is also time for me to pay my Annual Registration for the organization.   Please help.  All proceeds go to the vet.  I do not budget myself a salary. I am lucky to get gas money and a few expenses paid for this running and collecting...But time does cost.  Irma put a big dent on me this year and many others in the south. 

Only give if you have it and in the meantime……...Happy Holidays !!!!

Oh and by the way.. I am lousy at Fundraising.  I feel I have to take it all on by myself.  So help me ..help them… Please.   Soooo many government cuts !!! So many needs.  So many children of veterans and stress.
