JD Vance and Trump are clowns and that is a compliment. In the movie Scrooged, the character Bill Murray played told people Chinese restaurants ate cats. This lie has been around for a long time and was just another racist lie to hurt people from other countries, The movie was a Christmas comedy and Trump and Vance are not comedians and not sure what they are. Maybe they believe three ghosts are their advisors. One thing for sure, these candidates are dangerous and anything but comedy material. I enjoyed the movie Scrooged but obviously these two will believe anything on the big screen. I especially refer to Trump’s statement, “I heard it on TV”. Explains his campaign a lot !
Chinese restaurants do not serve cat for food. Anyone who spreads this kind of nonsense is beyond stupid. The Haitian community is paying a huge price for these stupid liars and believers of liars that are so paranoid and anti American that they must spread lies against good people to make themselves look informative. BS. They look stupid. God only knows what they eat to come up with such ridiculous claims. I expect Trump to hold a fundraiser any day now to try and get ET home.
In 1999, in a later book, Too Good To Be True, Brunvand described news stories on allegations of immigrants eating pets: “These items are typical of many similar articles that have appeared in the American press since Southeast Asian refugees began arriving in large numbers during the 1970s and ‘80s. Vague rumors about disappearing pets, strange cooking odors, and supposedly larger problems with pet-eating in another state—usually California—are standard features of such stories.”
At the end of this clip from Scrooged, is the Chinese reference. Just before this scene he spread the rumor of the Chinese serving cats….That explains the look on his face at the end of the clip when the co star suggests eating at a Chinese restaurant .
Ever since I was old enough to listen, my parents taught me not to believe everything I read or heard. Too bad so many people in this country are so racist and gullible they hang on to psychotic stories and hurt people.
If people vote for these maniacs it is my opinion that they are too gullible to drive, be in charge of tying their shoelaces and are dangerous and paranoid. What next? They have gone below the low bar of cuisine and other factors regarding anyone they dislike or don’t kiss their ring.
Vance and Trump really need some mental evaluations. They are also a risk to national security.
Isn’t it amazing that Trump will believe people eat cats , something he has never witnessed but won’t believe January 6th was a coup. That should tell any sensible person all they should know about Trump/Vance.
