Vance is not able to be VP IMO, because

I heard the orange one mention Vance’s book, Hillbilly Elegy.   I watched the movie and even though I am not a psychologist, that man probably and I would bet that he most definitely has PTSD.   No one and I mean no one could live and grow in a family as he did and not come away with scars so deep that it would be exceptionally hard to be even functional, much less in a leadership position.

Anyone who has been the go between drugs, addiction, chaos that he lived through with his Mother could not possibly be in leadership, Yale or not.  How do I know this?  Because I have identified with Mee Maw  in his messed up life.   My husband and I took and adopted our 4 grandkids because the absolute unbelievable lives they had with their bio Mom.  Not one of these kids could be in leadership positions.   Two have turned out so well regarding jobs and some  large amount of responsibility.  The 4th raised totally by us is very well adjusted but still sees a therapist occasionally caused partially by the death of her older sister  and yet she is  going to college  and thriving but  the oldest died from drugs and juvenile diabetes in 2021...The oldest  married another addicted person and went downhill so many times.  She like JD Vance was with her Mother for a long period of time and was  influenced by her. She made excuse after excuse for her Mother and why she spent her entire life trying to remold her and then the old saying, “If you can’t beat them, join them”.  Unfortunately she did and it killed her.

We had her in rehab from 16 to 18 but she got out and went back to Mama and went into her drug world.  I kept the other kids away from her and the Mom.   We had custody for years but knew the only way to stop the interference and chaos was adoption.  We have not regretted that move.  The eldest, Brandy never turned loose of her Mama even for her own good.

Vance did not appear to get into drugs but he was affected...No doubt.  He suffered loss when his Mee Maw died and she pretty much raised him but he kept trying to fix his Mother.  The home with Mom was abusive, violent and  was not  in a homelife anyone would want.   I don’t doubt that he does not care for women.   He never had much to identify with regarding a  real family in his life.  Excuses and more excuses for the Mother’s lack of maternal instinct.  Grandma took up for her daughter  and IMO, enabled her, which I have never done regarding my former daughter in law.  There was no Dad  that was shown in the movie around for JD but his PawPaw who died early on in his life.   There were lots of men except  the kind Mommy would shack with for a high.

The man Vance felt responsible for his sister, Mother, and yet needed attention most of his life.  He got so many mixed messages all of his life.

JD Vance did go to Yale and I guess on scholarship because they were dirt poor.   His big break came from that guy  Peter Tiel.   I also know from work with vets, the military doesn’t help your mental issues but most of the time make them worse.

I absolutely would not trust Vance in a position to be second in command for leader of the free world  even if he didn’t say weird things.   I do so wish there was a mental health evaluation for nominees.  If that man does not have PTSD he would be  a  walking miracle wonder but his words and actions seem to prove he really has Post Traumatic.

If you get the chance to see the movie of his life.  I highly suggest it because not only does it explain a lot but clearly to me states in bold letters, “  This man should not be a VP nominee”.

Some people will vote for Trump because some will feel Vance deserves a big break in his life.  If I were a Trump supporter,, Vance would be  the reason I could  not bring that pressure on to an already damaged individual.  Even if I were a Trump supporter, I would back away from his VP nominee.

Watch the movie.   You will see how messed up Vance may really be and those episodes were  his words. and put on the big screen by Ron Howard.   Not just my opinion.  He wrote the book on his messed up homelife, I just watched the movie based on his own words.

Our former daughter in law has been clean for several years….just like Vance’s Mother.   In my opinion, a bit too late for the damage they caused for the kid.

GOTV for Harris/Walz
