I heard Keith Olberman and agree with him. I do think he is preaching to the choir as many of us including me do everyday. We are in a situation right now in America that reminds me of a person who is having a baby that is breach and rather than get to a doctor to turn that baby but rather live in hopes the baby turns on it’s own without both Mother and child dying . That kind of response for us is total insanity and fear.
We the People are supposed to own this country. Not Matt Gaetz. Not the handful of idiots wanting to jump when Trump says froggy and burn it all down. We are allowing people to strike a match to our home and pour gasoline on every known structure , knowing very well we will not have a home or in danger. My friends,that is pure insanity. Some of us are pretty old and can encourage and call and demand but my Lord do we have to let one person and his cult kill every person who ever died for democracy be dug up and killed again? This do nothing and wait has to stop. We the People are the ones who have to stop this. The judges, the law, all seem to be intimidated and fearful while more and more are being gaslighted. What does allowing all this insanity say about We the People to just drift along hoping things will get better. Things will never get better until some folks are locked up. We need to demand some folks get locked up and held accountable for their violent incitement to riot or kill. That is supposed to be our rule of law. Accountability.
There sure are plenty of Jelly fished spines. Where are the people in the streets? Why is Trump not in jail? Why is the media not calling this maniac out every single day? The question is where are the true patriots who call America home and want democracy not in the streets? The misguided and crazies were in the streets to kill democracy violently on January 6th, where are the people trying to save democracy today and peacefully ? Where are our former presidents and leaders? Is Claire McGasill the only one calling out things?
The government can be shut down but WE the People can shut down this nonsense. It might take a village to raise a child but it takes effort and action and sacrafice to save democracy. Fear is not an option. Peacefully , if enough people demanded the rule of law upheld peacefully, we could make people know we are the majority and want representation that views democracy with pride. Words have consequences and the rhetoric being shouted is not freedom of speech. It is a threat to our national security. When people stop supporting people who work for the federal government including our military want to shut it down, they are working against We the People. The military not getting paid along with other federal workers is horrific.
When a person says code or not they want people dead like the Joint Chief of Staff or they don’t believe in the constitution or tell you their intentions. Believe them. We have to vote, true enough but do we even have time for that? Where will this country even be in November 2024? There has to be a movement and rule of law NOW….Not tomorrow.
