I want to thank you all for the kind words and concern about the storm and we came through just fine. The storm gave us some wind and rain and debris and a few limbs down and some power outage but otherwise we are fine. Twenty miles north and west of us are not so lucky. West on the coast has some strong storm surges. North of us is where it made landfall.
I felt like a pressure cooker two days ago and the vent helped so much. My very best friend got us a generator and I am ever so grateful as yesterday the heat index was 107.
My son seems to not be in pain as much and I appreciate ALL of your kind encouragement and words and suggestions.
I hope the rest of our Kossacks down here are fine. We are still losing power and I may not be able to answer you all and it is still windy as we have been on the dirty side of the hurricane…..
I am so grateful for the concern and hope others check in.
I am very tired from all the nervous exhaustion and resting today and I thank you all when I went a little bit crazy over so much worry. Thanks again to every one.
