ThIS TOP gov ( a picture of being top Gov in his own mind) has not realized one cannot legislate their own idea of morality. He is a straight up bully and hypocrite and that is not new according to his behaviors and teaching methods at the private boarding school in Ga.
The one thing the top gov has not learned is that you cannot legislate your idea of morality. Maybe the former Darlington teacher saw nothing wrong with partying with underage girls while he bans Sleeping Beauty books in Florida. What else is he hiding as he is wrapped up in banned books screaming, I decide what is right and wrong.
For those who do not know..Darlington is located in Rome, Ga. Know who represents that area?
Marjorie Taylor Green. Darlington is a private school..Whoah… maybe more private that some people know if teachers were acting like this or was it Just Ron?
After college and before law school, Ron DeSantis spent a year teaching history at a high school in Georgia. According to a source with close knowledge of the matter, during that time he was photographed partying with underaged students.
From Vanity Fair
Apart from his presence as a teacher at high school parties, DeSantis also stuck out in students’ minds for other reasons:
Danielle Pompey remembers Mr. DeSantis, a Florida native and recent Yale grad, being an outsider like her, a New Yorker with a thick accent to match. But Ms. Pompey, who is Black and was on an academic scholarship, said she felt that Mr. DeSantis treated her worse because of her race. “Mr. Ron, Mr. DeSantis, was mean to me and hostile toward me,” said Ms. Pompey, who graduated in 2003. “Not aggressively, but passively, because I was Black.”
She recalled Mr. DeSantis teaching Civil War history in a way that sounded to her like an attempt to justify slavery. “Like in history class, he was trying to play devil’s advocate that the South had good reason to fight that war, to kill other people, over owning people—Black people,” she said. “He was trying to say, ‘It’s not okay to own people, but they had property, businesses.’”
Yeah, that certainly sounds like Ron “No AP African American studies class” DeSantis! (The governor did not respond to the Times’ requests for comment.)
Minis, who is white, shared that class with Pompey and recalled DeSantis refused to back down when called out by students for getting the history wrong.
According to Minis, "She remembers him claiming that every city in the South had burned, even though she knew her hometown, Savannah, had not and she called him out on it."
Another former student who didn't want to give their name, claimed, "Mr. DeSantis's takes on the Civil War were the subject of so much talk that students made a satirical video about him at the time for the video yearbook."

Then we have the Gaetz and DeSantis connection and feud over debate preps.
'Disloyal hackery that I do not abide.'Matt Gaetz is no longer in Ron DeSantis’ political orbit, but he’s denouncing the leak of footage from a time when he was central to the Governor’s political operation.
ABC News reported on debate preparation video recorded during the 2018 campaign, with footage included about how DeSantis would deal with tough questions. Gaetz believes the material is out of bounds.
“I ran the DeSantis Debate Prep in 2018. Though I prefer Donald Trump for President (bigly), the release of these videos by the person operating the camera is disloyal hackery that I do not abide. Staffers who leak on the candidates they’ve done work for deserve the reputations they get,” Gaetz tweeted.
Just what all is DeSantis hiding?
The guy who made a name for himself by bullying mask-wearing children, teachers, LGBTQ+ people, and Mickey Mouse isn’t a very nice person. “I think he’s an asshole,” said former congressman David Trott. “I don’t think he cares about people.”
He had a recent cancer survivor fired.
This one isn’t really an etiquette breach, it’s just monstrous. Five former staffers told Politico that at the beginning of his administration, “DeSantis directed the Florida Republican Party leader to fire a party official who had cancer — on that person’s first week back from surgery.”
He punished staffers for his mistake.
And on and on it goes. Republicans sure can pick some nice guys to be their leaders, can’t they?/s
