The Rachel Maddow Show last night was horrifying and the gatekeeper, a Trump apointee over migrant girls pregnant as young as 11 or 12 is just beyond nuts.   ( Read an article he wrote in 2015).

There is a solution to this.   First of all, as a woman past the childbearing age, this does not affect me personally in my own body.   I STILL have daughters and granddaughters who will be fearful of this type of overreach.   The government has no business in tracking menstrual periods of young women of any age, much less those who have been raped or assaulted and  it even goes against the Hyde Amendment.  The man was ordered by a judge to stop interfering with migrant pregnant kids and he is still doing it.  He if nothing else should be held in contempt of court.

The solution is this:  I do not agree with the government telling women what they can and can’t buy to prevent pregnancy nor do I think it is even anything but creepy to check out Kotex buyers.  These men have issues.  I suspect a lot on this subject but I assure you, we will, the women,  I believe should take away their ability to get the blue pill that helps  a man have the ability to send that little sperm into the egg.  I mean if it’s limp, it’s incapable of impregnating.  Want to take away birth control?  Want women not to have a say over their reproductive rights?  Well just go for it and see how fast a Blue pill Carrie Nation outburst there will be.

I have never like discussing sex in an open forum nor have I liked to discuss sex that to me is so intimate belongs only with a doctor and partner, I must say has hit a new red line for me.   Now this is a first for me.  Who says, men get to call all the shots?  Who?  Who is willing to have the government that starts in migrant camps and ends up with tracking your 12 year old’s periods?   This outrageous and straight out of the Handmaiden’s Tale.   My next question is pretty out there but should be discussed.  What are all these people planning for these new infants in government care?  Slavery?  An Army?  Might sound conspiracy minded but hey it is a question twirling in my head.

I think this whole thing needs to be made public of how far down the rabbit hole these folks are willing to go to allow your child or any child to be made to carry a baby or get pregnant by force.

This is fascism and this needs quick attention.

Rachel Maddow reports exclusively on details of a newly obtained spreadsheet kept by the Trump administration's Office of Refugee Resettlement, led by anti-abortion activist Scott Lloyd, tracking the pregnancies of unaccompanied minor girls. Brigitte Amiri, ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project senior staff attorney, joins to discuss details of the case.

I remember my parents who were of the WWII generation telling us or we overheard the discussion of draining the blood from American soliders to give to the Nazis.   I overheard a lot of things when uncles came home from WWII and Hitler’s brownshirted regime.  I did not forget.

The Gatekeeper’s own article

Can We Be Pro-life and Pro-contraception?

The common belief regarding contraception is that it leads to reductions in abortion, and many in the pro-life movement hold this belief, some going so far as to support access to contraception as a means to reducing abortion. A review of the abortion industry’s own studies and statistics reveal, however, that the opposite is true—widespread access to contraceptives actually leads to increases in the abortion rate. To oppose abortion, the pro-life movement should speak with a unified voice in opposition to contraception as well. National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly 15.2 (Summer 2015): 231–239.

We have to get this country back to doing government things that does not include personal things like when someone is or isn’t on their period.  If we have to make filibusters the kind of thing as once was holding the floor and not yielding till you dropped were over a male enhancement drug, or blue pill for oversexed, and depraved legislators and gatekeepers, then so be it.   This can be a two sided argument.  If these nuts want to take away reproductive rights then we can take away their right to perform.   Neither should be a government argument but if they want to go down that road, then by golly we should follow suit.  Women Arise and reclaim your bodies AND your monthly private cycles.
