Well, I am sure we are going to find more intimidation in Florida.. A vet...a pastor….and a sign…
He should lose his tax exempt status as well. Video of sign at link.
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley said he revoked the polling place status of Grace of God Church in New Port Richey after its pastor placed a controversial sign in front of the building on Election Day.
Sign read "Don't vote for Democrats on Tuesday and sing, 'Oh, how I love Jesus' on Sunday" Supervisor of Elections Office received hundreds of complaintsI’m frustrated and, quite frankly, a little resentful because, as I explained to the pastor, any other day, any other day you could put that sign up," Corley told us. "You could put 100 up. But when you use it as a polling place, that’s just not the way you operate."
“I get all these political ads up and down my driveway,” Pastor Al Carlisle said of election season. “I said, ‘Well, I don’t know if God’s really excited about all this,’ and ‘How can I use this opportunity to be a witness, to share the truth of God’s word?’”
Well Dude..You can’t cherrypick the bible.. You might want to read… Render unto Caeser that which is Caesar and that which is God’s. Very specific direction here from the almighty.
Matthew 22:21 Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's." Romans 13:1
In other words...Separation of Church and State.
Basically he wanted only Republican voters at this polling place. I am sure there are many other stories going to come out.
I guess all democrats are going to Hell.. That vet needs some prayers and thoughts along with a few days at a VA Psych ward for evaluation. A bit too overzealous for a political cause.
TAKE HIS TAX EXEMPT STATUS AWAY !
Oh by the way..Desantis lead is shrinking.
