I am already angry about our home being stolen in 2011. I have more info and the more I read, the worse it gets.. While researching some info about how badly we were done, I ran across this story. Wall Street is in bed with the VA as it appears. This is pure and simple discrimination and more than likely more common among the Black community, however there were all kinds of illegalities and fraudulent practices done to us in Ga. I wonder if they knew my husband is of mixed heritage. Everhome Mortgage stole our home, plain and simple..The County courthouse sent me some documents that made me ever more angry. This is too common of a practice in Georgia where our home was ripped out from under us.
This is not over for us especially since I discovered the Class Action law suit that even included suing the VA, never sent us a penny that we were included in. All said and done a new wave of discrimination is going on in Ga and this time not only Disabled are being targeted but Blacks specifically. Everhome was found guilty along with Big Banks such as Countrywide, Chase and Bank of American by the DOJ and ordered to remedy the homeowners.... ( Well I know how that went). Most received 500 bucks for a 150,000 dollar home ripoff but we did not even receive that and sure we are not alone.
Everhome is under the microscope again for non compliance. We cannot buy a home...because the illegal foreclosure still shows on the credit even after disputing it and this new round of in your face love affair with government and WALL STREET has got to stop. I am hoping #BLM goes after some of these folks, you know , The real ENEMIES OF THE STATE and Domestic Terrorists like Everhome. Yes they are terrorists. The Federal Reserve should have stopped all of these people in their tracks but they are still making money, stealing homes, and with guaranteed loans from the VA. VA still has problems other than healthcare. They are not too good with securing loans and helping in fighting homelessness.
I find this more than sickening.

I want to know why Big Banks are not complying with the Federal Reserve orders and why in Dekalb County, Ga. evictions are taking place against black veterans who sought out the VA to secure housing. Why is the Dept of Veterans Affairs not addressing the issue? Why are they ignoring calls? It appears racism is not only active in our communities and local law enforcement but in the big government leadership as well.

People...are still without homes.. People who have had or having homes stolen cannot rise above the imprint and backlash of the injustice. I really want Wall Street to pay for this outrage. These banks are in business and still ripping folks off. The people in the downturn pay higher rent, higher everything until they are just spent out and forget getting financed as foreclosure shows up on their report. This is such a disgrace. People who stood on foreign soil and paid high costs with their health can't seem to catch a financial break. What the wars didn't take, the big banks and special interests have. I have an idea..let's send Wall Street to fight Isis.
