According the the Gainesville Sun, we are headed for some trouble and I am quite angry about it.   Spencer has been told he was not welcome to speak at the University of Florida in Gainesville.   Scott had already prepared to initiate the National Guard before his trip was cancelled before.  Adding insult to injury, Heather Heyer’s father lives in Florida.  He lives further south but still lives in Florida.

The Gainesville VA is located RIGHT THERE at the school and I will be making other arrangements for the removal of my husband’s tumor if this guy and his KKK message and followers show.   I have veteran business in Gainesville regarding a tumor on my husband’s leg Sept. 12th or 15th.  I will not be caught up in this mess especially considering the stress and his ptsd.

This is beyond Ridiculous.   There will be trouble as Gainesville went dem in 2016 and Spencer is IMO an enemy of the state .

Organizer says Richard Spencer, who was denied a request to speak at Phillips Center, intends to come to campus Sept. 12.

White nationalist Richard Spencer intends to come to Gainesville, whether he has a permit or not.

“I can confirm we are coming to the University of Florida, regardless,” said Cameron Padgett, who organizes speaking events for Spencer. “Hopefully it’s in a controlled environment, like the Phillips Center.”

Earlier this month, the University of Florida denied a permit, filed by Padgett, for Spencer and others aligned with Spencer’s National Policy Institute to speak at the Phillips Center on Sept. 12.

The school does not want him here.  There may be so yahoos who do but when you have been told to stay away..then you are stirring the pot for trouble.

Dammit.. I guess I will have to contact VISN 8 and congresspeople that this is interfering with Veteran care as some will be changing appointment schedules and THAT cannot be allowed to happen.

We are prepared to vigorously defend our decision,” he wrote. “The safety of our students, faculty and staff is our highest priority.”

Spencer is a white nationalist and wants so very badly to create chaos.

Fuchs said there was never an executed contract for the event. However, UF provided a preliminary estimate for Padgett to rent the Phillips Center for $6,200, a document shows.

Gainesville Mayor Lauren Poe has said that Spencer and others pick college campuses to spark emotion from younger people, but Padgett says that’s not so.

This needs to stop before it starts.

No facility rental contract was ever executed,” Sikes said.

That document didn’t include security costs. Padgett said he expected to fight the university over the definition of “reasonable” security costs. He paid $40 per police officer per hour at Auburn University, where he successfully argued in court that the university violated his free speech by barring Spencer’s talk.

“Just because a lot of protesters are going to show up that’s not my fault,” he said. “I don’t have to pay for it.”

Before the topic could come up, UF decided against hosting Spencer.

And to add trauma to possible trauma.  T/S or Hurricane Irma is making it’s way across the Atlantic with spaghetti models showing Florida may be in her  path at about the same time.
