Now some lies are bigger than others but are all equal in deception and division.   The Fox and other big bullshitters started the division with so many lies that it is mind boggling. The War on Christmas and They are coming for your Guns are the two HUGE lies that started with division and snowballed into the cold civil war we are experiencing with the Liar in Chief we have today.   There is absolutely no war on Christmas.   Sound like a funny subject to write about in August?  Well not really because since we let them get away with War on Christmas, Coming for your guns, we  now have to fight every single lie projected by the idiots who convince the weak minded that their lie of the moment is fact.   What did such nonsense evolve into?   There is no Russian connection.  Putin could be taking down every American Flag and running the flagpole up with the Russian flag and people who have drunk the Kool Aid would swear it was a liberal plot to dis credit Trump and conservatives.

There should be a law that requires the News Media to stick to fact and to intentionally lie would be a revocation of their license to broadcast.   There should be fines imposed and the inability to call opinion...news.   This is just common sense.

There was at one time, a ban on Christmas.  It was by the Puritans who banned Christmas trees and any celebration of Christmas.  That is right.  The religious bunch banned Christmas.   I will include some proof positive when Trump made his little speech about how people would be able to say Merry Christmas again, it was just another lie he had spread that their ability to say Merry Christmas had been altered.  It had not.

Modern celebrations of Christmas include more commercial activity, compared to the more religious celebrations of the past.

Historian Stephen Nissenbaum contends that the modern celebration in the United States was developed in New York State from defunct and imagined Dutch and English traditions in order to refocus the holiday from one where groups of young men went from house to house demanding alcohol and food into one centered on the happiness of children. He notes that there was a deliberate effort to prevent children from becoming greedy in response.[35] Christmas was not proclaimed a holiday by the United States Congress until 1870.

Let’s be absolutely clear – there isn’t a “War On Christmas” and nobody is trying to outlaw the holiday. Nobody is going to come and seize your tree or take little Bobby’s presents from under it like The Grinch. This whole fake outrage is nothing more than a gimmick by opportunistic individuals to drive TV ratings and book sales. Christmas isn’t going anywhere; in fact, the holiday now seems to stretch from before Halloween until the dried out tree hits the curb around New Year’s Eve.
