The problem Democrats have IMO, is that we expect people to be of the same decency as many of us possess. Michelle said, “ When they go low, we go high”. They just want us to go. Go to the kitchen, go to the bedroom, go fetch slippers, just go where ever and whenever sexism wants you and people like you to go.
People have been dumbed down and gullible. These sexist people don’t understand giving and working with the better angels. They like to project. That glass ceiling you kept trying to break only took lies, distortions and bullying and not all of that hard work you have done for decades just was neither appreciated or obviously wanted by at least more than half of the country . All you had to do was grab some testicles and brag about it and laugh with someone in the entertainment world and all would have been forgiven. All you had to do was have a portrait painted of you and then paid for from the Clinton Foundation. All you had to do was make disabled children and other disabled people feel different and bad. All you had to do was dishonor our veterans and gold star families. All you had to do was scream Get em outta here when displeased at a meeting. All you had to do was have a mean face and orange face and lie with every breath. All you had to do was ask foreign governments to go after your opponent’s emails. You should have had several more spouses and insult different faiths so evangelicals could forgive you.
You did all the wrong things for this electorate to elect you. You...have a vagina. What you didn’t have was the mean spirit and an R by your name. Secretary Clinton, you were too experienced and educated for this job. My God, you were willing to listen to generals and advisors !!!! You actually like people of color. You like people in the GLBT community. You have asked for forgiveness.
To be honest….This country or at least the majority does not deserve you. You were too experienced and too good to be President. The ceiling will never break in my lifetime but damn, you sure tried and I thank you. I thank you for your strength and stamina and sorry the only misstep that happened to you on the campaign was that you coughed. Women are not allowed to be sick or did you not get that memo? It is right there in the pre 70’s handbook. Did Wikileaks not hack you and forget to put that memo out for all of the world to read?
You want me to accept Trump as my president. I must confess to you Secretary Clinton, I am just not that big of a person. He is not nor will ever be my president. I could have accepted any republican as a president but not this one. The man who questioned our rule of law. The man who questioned our current president’s legitimacy. I cannot accept racism and xenophobia and sexism holding the highest office in the land. This is not the America I envisioned, or wanted for my children or grandchildren. You started your concession speech with, “I’m sorry”. Well, Secretary Clinton, I’m sorry, I just cannot rise to your level of integrity. The President’s speech was nice but I did not feel encouraged about this country no matter what he said, nor what you said. This is being played as politics as usual. This is not politics as usual. The reins of power has been handed to a madman. I just cannot accept that. I am no longer happy to be an American and hope that is a problem I can do something about. I will never ever say with pride, “ I am American”. No one has the right to make me feel ashamed of where I was born. The man people call President elect and his supporters have sent me emotionally and more than likely into exile as I feel my patriotism was stripped from me . The ceiling is shatterproof and made of a white, straight, able, and male substance.
